  1. Prism Suncatcher Take-Home Craft Kit

    Let’s start 2021 off with some sparkle! A new take-home kid kit is now available. While supplies last, come in and pick up a prism suncatcher kit to create your own rainbows! Each kit includes detailed instructions, 1 prism, 1 length of nylon string, 10 pony beads, and 2 star beads. *1 per child while supplies last! Parents/caregivers can pick up multiples for all the kids in your household! Kits can be picked up inside the library during our open hours (M-F 10-3) or call us during our curbside hours (M-F 10-2) and let us know how many crafts you would like!

  3. Friends of the Walker Memorial Book Club

    The Friends of the Walker Memorial Book Club meets the second Thursday of the month at the Westbrook Community Center at 2 pm. This months selection is “Dear Edward” by Ann Napolitano. All are welcome! Masks are Required. Book Synopsis: One summer morning, twelve-year-old Edward Adler, his beloved older brother, his parents, and 183 other passengers board a flight in Newark headed for Los Angeles. Among them is a Wall Street wunderkind, a young woman coming to terms with an unexpected pregnancy, an injured vet returning from Afghanistan, a septuagenarian business tycoon, and a free-spirited woman running away from her controlling husband. And then, tragically, the plane crashes. Edward is the sole survivor.
