Congratulations to Officer Kipp Bleicken. Last night was the first time ever that someone has won both the Police Department Employee of the Quarter award AND the City’s EOQ award (for all city employees) at the same time in Westbrook. Quite an achievement!
This was the final meeting for Ward 5 City Councilor Larry McWilliams and Mayor Mike Sanphy. Mayor-Elect Michael T. Foley resigned from his At-Large Council position. The Council also observed a moment of silence for beloved At-Large Councilor Ann E. Peoples who was to have her final meeting as a City Councilor last night.
