Community Craft Swap

Saturday, November 4, 2023

Join us for Walker Memorial Library’s next swap event on Saturday, November 4th from 1pm to 3pm! Bring in your unused craft supplies and swap them with other crafters for something you could use to create for the holiday season!

Patrons can drop off new or unused crafting supplies at the library’s front desk Monday thru Friday the week of October 23rd or30th between the hours of 12pm and 2pm. . Patrons are asked to limit their swap donations to one bag or box of materials per day. Supplies can also be brought during the swap on Saturday, November 4th.

Examples of Acceptable Craft Donations:

  • Scrapbooking paper/stickers
  • Modge Podge
  • Glue gun/sticks
  • Various cutters (pinking sheers, exacto knife, rotary cutter, etc)
  • Craft mats
  • Brushes
  • Sewing supplies
  • Cricut machine supplies/accessories
  • String/ribbon
  • Fabric
  • Twine
  • Stencils
  • Stamps/ink
  • Yarn
  • Beads
  • Clay
  • Foam
  • Crochet hoops
  • Sanding paper
  • And more!

Please note that staff may refuse donations based on condition. Any supplies not taken may be donated to the local schools, used for library programs, or recycled.
