Discover Downtown Westbrook

Westbrook Environmental Improvement Corporation funds the City's commitment to being a Main Street community. WEIC has continually funded the organization since its inception in 2014, when it was designated a network community by the Maine Downtown Center. At that time, a part-time coordinator was hired and the organization was called Downtown Westbrook Coalition. In 2016, the coordinator went full-time in anticipation of applying for National Main Street accreditation, and in 2017, the organization received that accreditation and rebranded as Discover Downtown Westbrook.
