The National Grange of the Order of Patrons of Husbandry is a non-profit, non-partisan organization based in more than 2,100 hometowns across America. Highland Lake Grange was organized on January 11, 1875, and has been serving the Duck Pond area of Westbrook continuously ever since. Meetings were first held on the upper floor of the old schoolhouse at Duck Pond Corner. By September, 1889 the Grange Hall itself was completed and put into use.
