Westbrook Common
The City of Westbrook is in the process of redesigning the Westbrook Common. The Westbrook Common is one of the most visible, centrally-located properties in the downtown. Considering these assets, the Common has great potential to become a vital public space activated by adjacent businesses and community activities and events.

Downtown Parking Management Plan
As part of the Downtown Parking Management Plan, in cooperation with Discover Downtown Westbrook, the Westbrook Gorham Chamber and the downtown business community, the City of Westbrook began enhanced parking enforcement in the Downtown Heart District beginning July 2. WPD issued warnings from July 2 through July 15. Beginning Monday, July 16, cars parked illegally or over the posted time limits will be ticketed. Employees who work in the downtown area and utilize public parking are advised to use the All Day Parking to free up shorter-term spots for business patrons.
The map pictured is for informational purposes only. It shows the location of All-Day parking, 2 hour parking in yellow, 1 hour on-street parking in red and 30-minute parking in orange. Posted signage supersedes any information shown on the informational map.
Facade Improvement Program
The City of Westbrook has launched a Downtown Facade Improvement Program. If you are a building owner/business owner in the Downtown Heart District, you may apply for a grant for up to $15000 with a 1:1 dollar for dollar match for improvements to your building facade.
