Human Resources supports and services the 750 plus full and part time employees who work for the City of Westbrook and the Westbrook School Department. HR is the first contact for management and employees concerning:

Director of Human Resources Responsibilities

Jennifer Ogden, MHRLR, SPHR, Director of Human Resources, is responsible for the oversight, design, development, and implementation of all Human Resource functions for the City of Westbrook and Westbrook School Department. As a consultant to staff and management Jennifer trains and assists with issues such as employee and labor relations; organizational design and development; training and development; staff planning and recruitment; and occupational health and safety.

Human Resources Assistant & Recruiter Responsibilities

Casey Provost, Human Resources Assistant and Recruiter, is responsible for providing administrative support to the Human Resources Department, including maintaining filing and reporting systems, responding to employee inquiries, and other general administrative functions. Casey also assists with the coordination of recruiting efforts for the City of Westbrook.

Payroll & Benefits Coordinator Responsibilities

Jim Naylor, Payroll and Benefits Coordinator, is responsible for administering payroll and benefits for City of Westbrook employees, including related billing, new hire on boarding, personnel file maintenance, and general administrative support to the Human Resources Department.
